Our Farm History
Our farm was first purchased in 1781, right in the midst of the American Revolutionary War, by our ancestor Samuel Potter. Now in our 9th generation, we’re proud to carry on the family tradition of raising beef on the same land that’s been in our care for over two centuries.
Some longtime locals might remember the old vegetable stand out front, or the days when butter and potatoes were delivered by hand throughout the Lakes Region. A lot has changed since then—but our commitment to hard work, good food, and honest farming hasn’t.
